Thanks for taking the time to go through my portfolio! I'm Emma Hollenberg a 3D Animator who loves to animate animals, facial expressions, and character acting scenes with strong emotions. I got my creative spark from my mom who was my initial inspiration and pushed me to pursue my life dreams of working in the animation industry. As someone outgoing and emotionally intelligent, I find immense joy in bringing characters to life, especially in portraying their emotions and acting scenes authentically. My passion for animals and growing up in small-town Bend, Oregon has given me a new perspective and a way to channel my experiences into my animation work, being able to breathe life into any 3D animated character I work on and get the audience to feel connected with scenes, whether it’s a human animal or creature. I've been on the pursuit to work in animation since my freshmen year in high school. Since then, I’ve graduated with a BFA in Animation and special effects from Woodbury University in May of 2021 and recently graduated from the Academy of Art University with an MA in Animation with and focus on 3D Animation. I’ve had the amazing opportunity to collaborate on many projects with so many incredible students and artists so far, which included creature, human, and quadruped animation. One thing I love about the Animation Industry is the storytelling in every movie I see and there is always something new to learn from this. I truly enjoy seeing the amount of detail that goes into creating the character’s facial expressions and emotions. I am constantly learning new ways to animate how characters feel and I love that the Animation Industry does this in so many different styles and ways. I’m excited to continue learning and challenging myself with animation scenes and I can’t wait to see how I will continue to improve and further my skills in animation next.
